ensconced there in solitude savouring its sweet charm
wrapped in silent sanctitude safe and sound from harm
freed from all inquietude the still small voice be heard
resting in your habitude your heart like some great bird
soars to its home altitude and sings a song a magic word
unburdened of its lassitude perched high upon a peak
with warm and loving attitude its eyes begin to seek
my god it be the multitude to which it points its beak
and with chosen words so few and so quiet and so meek
you touch the hearts and minds of all to whom you speak
