Through the eyes of a child
You can see them on their way
out to the liberty
while you are confined.
“The society’s game”
and the money-power
keep you in a cage
through every hour.
How do you feel…?
What if everything you are living for
is unreal?
What’s the story
behind your eyes?
A child isn’t that unwise.
Through the eyes of a child
you see… the true purity,
the mirror of soul,
the mirror of eternity;
A fragile rebirth,
which need loving care
as our mother earth.
I hope the sun will still shine
and the grass will grow
long after I am dead
And my childrens’ childrens’ children
may live their lives instead.
And we may return
until we learn.
You may see me
through the eyes of a child.
But will there be
an earth to return to?
And will I recognize you?

We will recognize you by the twist of your lips when smiling
You may know me by the cadence of my voice
and me by the way I move my hand to wipe my forehead

I like this poem
it lifts my thoughts
and makes me look forward
to the next recognition
in this world
or another..
