Soul travelling is often used by shamans to enter in to another soul world or a higher consciousness. The shamans visits the spirit world while soul travelling. While being in this soul and mind dimension the shaman experience different spiritual soul stages. One never knows what will happen and what one will meet in this spiritual dimension. The shaman soul travel in order to become more enlightened of what the spirits wants to communicate to his soul.
Shamanic drums are most often used as a tool to reach this awareness.
The shaman enter in to some sort of trance while listening to the heartbeat of the drums and go further and further in to the place where the soul is free to travel freely among the spirits.
If you have never soul travelled before, I suggest you lay in your bed or sit comfortably in a chair while listening to music played by shamanic drums. Close your eyes and let the drums take you away to the spirit world. Don´t have any expectations of what will happen, just let go of all your thoughts and see where the drum beat takes you.
