Hello all!
There is a man called Rahaman Ali (he is a friend) at the Hospice that is part of Lovisenberg Diakonale Sykehus in Oslo. It is a place for people who are dying. Rahaman is 64 years old, has stomach cancer and is on his last legs. The doctors say it cannot be operated on. He hasn't been able to hold any food down for a long time so he is just a bag of bones now. He has had the problem for a while, something like 18 months. He has had treatment before, Radiation and Chemotherapy. The cancer went away but now after about six months it is back, in the same place, with a vengeance. If he gets past this he could have 10-15 good years left in him. His family and friends would be very happy for that.
His sickness has taken a long time in manifesting and springs from an old, deep and firmly entrenched bitterness. It is connected to other negative emotions in him and these form a network. They support each other. He must overcome this thing leaf, branch, trunk and root. Villbjørn began sending healing yesterday and dreamed last night that unless the energy increased in both "voltage" and "ampere" it may turn out to be too little too late; so in order to step up efforts the props are out: drum, incense, candles and what's not. The neighbours are going to experience some strangeness over the next few hours.
Normally Villbjørn asks his guides if he can help a person or not. If the answer is no that's the end of it. If it is yes he then asks how etc. and he goes ahead and does it. Up to now that has worked just fine. It is usual that doubts trouble his mind, especially if it is something new he is doing or if he perceives it as a big thing. It is also common that no one is more surprised than Villbjørn when he gets a message saying that everything went well.
This time, however, the dream complicates things. How can they have said that Villbjørn can do it and then say that Villbjørn's efforts are not enough or at least may turn out so. Perhaps the extra efforts Villbjørn is going to make will fill the gap. Perhaps not. The reason for thinking that is, he is now part of a group of Shamans. Perhaps the spirits see this group as potential that he can and should access in this case. He doesn't know. He is accustomed working on his own. It is the first time he has been a member of a group like this. Perhaps he has to revise his image of who he is, or open up more to the collective aspect of himself.
As a rule, if he asks for help he has to be able to say "I have done all that I can do." In this case to wait that long, until that can be said, would mean that Ali is dead. That doesn't seem sensible. Therefore, unsure as I am of what to do I reach out and ask that any person who reads this and is so inclined, please send healing, say a prayer, light a candle, send Reiki, whatever. Do what you do to help Ali overcome. Perhaps a group of people can succeed where one cannot.
Thanking you in advance for your kind help!
Villbjørn Ulvberg
