Took me many years to find the name for what I was looking for... working with the spirits of plants.

http://www.amazon.com/Plant-Spirit-Sham ... 80-1509234

an amazing book that truly helped me in my path to earn to connect with plant spirits, work with them, and learn from them their unique ways.
It also have endless information about shamanic use of plants, but i find it most important to learn to listen to the plant iteself.

"Plant Spirit Medicine: The Healing Power of Plants by Eliot Cowan" is another amazing book  in the way to learn how to work with the spirit of the plant, rather than the plant... finding allies in the plant world and working with their Spirit...

Yes, that book is great
En åndelig tilnærming til sopp (da gjerne hallusinogene) kan man finne i Martin Ball sin "Mushroom Wisdom: How Shamans Cultivate Spiritual Consciousness", by the way...  :innocent2:

Thank you Katla for the tips about Ball's book, It was the mushroom who sent me on this journey, and it feels like a book I should read:)

Does any one have any reference for Dieting with Mushrooms? I did it with direct guide of the spirit, and would love to hear if it has been/is being done anywhere.

dieting with mushrooms has been a long time occupation of mine
i have used them to recieve vision, and vision has shown me the way to live in close proximity with the fungi nature
wich is our nature.
There is certain foods i avoid in meeting with these entities, because they are of a non physical species, they demand a certain
bodily and spiritual purity in the encounter
so i stay away from sugary stuff and fatty meats, medications, alchohol, and even the radio-tv,many days prior to a velada
and recieving healing and power from the spirits,i get reassurance of their presence and guidance

i have chosen a path with these remedies, and they demand i refrain from alhoholic drinking
because there is a certain kind of energy not sympathetic with the spirits of the mushrooms
so i stick with unadulderated tobacco and homegrown ganja on occasion.
If the policeman reads this he will be happy to know my home adress,so he can visit me and maybe share a blunt moment in time.
case is ,i never handle much weed indoors,a few nuggets of sensimilla is all i have right now.

There is a beautiful synergy between the natural entheogens, they work together intensefying each other.
I find that  cannabis on mushrooms, enhances the visionary experience
meaning that the cannabis spirit is a great guide in the spiritual universe,a great co-worker,one might say.

And,again, the  r e a s s u r a n c e,i get from dieting with entheogens,is the healing trigger mechanism within me.
A reassurance in the spiritual universe communicating with me,and balancing my energies as i travel ahead ofmyself in time and space.
This feeling of well-being sustains to this day, like an extra charge or bolt of energy inside me.
a balancing force or spirit that devours all sickness.

i hope i have touched somewhat upon the subject of dieting,if not, sing.

bless yall.

Teleterkji, thank you so much for sharing your journey.

Plain Mandioka goes best in a diet, does it not?

I have been in the same places for many years and know the space well... though I was told (by the mushrooms) to give up ganga:) It is in deed a holy plant, and the combinations have much wisdom. Yet I was clearly shown that is not my path.

I was also instructed through a 14 days diet without eating or drinking anything else. ending with Aya on the 14th day.
have you ever dieted in a similar way?

Ball's book might be a little too introductory to you, Ayola. Seems to me you allready have experienced and understood the basics of spiritual alignment with shrooms. It is a good book for those who wish to get a grip on the basics of approaching sacred mushrooms in a sacred way, however. Very easy to read even for those who are not used to reading english. He does not adress the "larger" questions a more experienced shaman might rise.

Thank you both for sharing :)
